OPENING ADDRESS
On behalf of Father General of the Order and a friendly greeting and a cheerful "Welcome!"
The title of this Congress was a pleasant surprise for me and made me do a reflection.
There is no first, second and third order, but one family that shares the same spirit of Teresa. This Order only delivery to the nuns, friars and lay people a gift that is both a communion with God, fellowship and mission. We all live in the same charisma in different life contexts, to bring the world a spirituality that continues to offer the Holy Church and the world. In the Order
OCD The Secular Order is more than a Christian group or an association or a Catholic church movement, or an aggregate Institute, all of which may actually refer to different aspects of Caramel Teresa: the Secular Order is one of three components. Together with the nuns and friars, the OCDS is what we know as the Teresian Caramel. Go to each of us wish - brothers and sisters - that these days are crucial for living a creative fidelity in the discovery of God's gift, then you can share it with those who stand in our way. Good work! I wish you joy and happiness with the Virgin of Caramel, and all our saints.
